Recipe of the day: Fruit Yogurt Parfait
In our very first lesson we made a fruit yogurt parfait, using berries and bananas. Before we got started we learnt some basic food hygiene and kitchen safety rules. We used frozen strawberries to add a different texture to our parfait. The children loved biting into the cold strawberries which reminded them of popsicles. They really enjoyed making their fruit parfaits and learnt all about food preparation hygiene in the process.
