Aisyah Yussof
Bachelor in Applied Theatre, Griffith University
Diploma in Applied Drama and Psychology, Singapore Polytechnic
Hi! My name is Aisyah. I first joined Lorna Whiston after hearing of the great working environment here through a close friend. I have always had a burning passion to teach drama to children and young people. Working with Lorna Whiston Schools has allowed me this great opportunity!

I gained extensive experience working with children while completing my diploma at Singapore Polytechnic (a Diploma in Applied Drama and Psychology) and through my working attachments.

With a strong belief in drama, and its power to influence and educate children, I went on to pursue a Bachelor in Applied Theatre at Griffith University, Australia. During my time there, I volunteered with The Royal Children's Hospital in Brisbane. For me, seeing the smiles and growth of my students through the magic that is drama is one of the main reasons why I am so passionate about this field.

During my free time, you will probably find me with my face buried in a notebook, jotting down story ideas for me to explore, as writing is my other passion! There is just something about writing that calms my soul and allows me to explore the different experiences and perspectives in my life.

I am very excited to be part of the dedicated and passionate team at Lorna Whiston's Speech & Drama Department.
