Ashley O'Hare
Bachelor of Arts in English Language, Literature and Philosophy (Hons), TEFL (Distinction)
My name is Ashley O'Hare and I was born in England, Liverpool, where I received my full education specialising in English. I graduated at age 20, achieving a Bachelor of Arts degree with honours in English Language, Literature and Philosophy. My passion for the subject encouraged me to complete my TEFL course last summer, in which I was awarded a distinction. After travelling and working in Europe, Australia and New Zealand for the past few years, I felt a strong connection to Asia, specifically the multicultural environment of Singapore.

My interests closely resemble my educational background. I enjoy Drama and Creative Writing and competing in oral presentations. I spent time working with children in the UK as a director and creator of performance arts, developing young and confident public speakers.

I have a real desire to improve the lives of others by sharing my knowledge and passion for English. As a younger teacher, I understand the importance of relating to the children and being considerate of their specific interests and needs in the classroom. I look forward to welcoming your child on their journey at Lorna Whiston and watching them leave with a sound knowledge and understanding of the English language.
