Paul Joplin
Teacher
BA (Hons) in Communications Studies from Nottingham Trent University (First Class),
Postgraduate Certificate in Research Methods and Statistics (Distinction)
My name is Paul and I was born in a small village in Norfolk, on the east coast of England. I have a BA (Hons) in Communications Studies from Nottingham Trent University (First Class), and a Postgraduate Certificate in Research Methods and Statistics (Distinction). I am currently pursuing my Trinity Guildhall qualifications in Speech and Drama.

As an interpersonal communications specialist with a background in business development management for the government, I use the techniques of the dramatic arts to develop and inculcate the key skills required for success in public speaking and all forms of communication with others: articulation, clarity, projection, and confidence.

When I am not enjoying myself working at Lorna Whiston, you will usually find me running, swimming, or cycling somewhere in Singapore. My other interests include playing the piano, voluntary and community work in sports (I have coached visually impaired cricket and goalball teams) and singing. I am a bass who specialises in sacred choral music of the Renaissance and Baroque eras.
