Fees

In the interest of transparency, here is a breakdown of our fee structure. We believe this helps parents make a more informed decision on preschools.

Fees are broken down into 3 different categories. While the first 2 items are mandatory at all Lorna Whiston Preschools (base fee is $1,700/month), parents are free to opt for a Campus Charge that fits their preferences, based on your choice of campus.

Frequently Asked Questions (F.A.Q)

Should I enroll at your more expensive campuses for a better education?

The Lorna Whiston curriculum and education experience is consistent throughout all campuses.

Why does Lorna Whiston have a campus charge? No other school has this.

While the campus charge is not openly stated, all private preschools in Singapore set fees according to the premise and facilities. Hence, despite having the same ECDA curriculum and teachers, HDB void deck centres can charge $700/month, but standalone bungalows start from $1,700/mth.

If all schools teach the same curriculum, why does Lorna Whiston charge more?

All preschools in Singapore follow a curriculum that fulfills ECDA’s base requirements. However, Lorna Whiston is one of the few preschools that go beyond that, with Speech & Drama, Native English, Chinese Culture, Art, Music, Sports and Taekwondo all part of our curriculum.

The education charge also mentions teachers. Aren’t all teachers the same?

As of today, we are one of a handful of ECDA-certified preschools that have an international team of subject experts. This means English is taught by a native speaker, Music lessons are taught by a trained Music Teacher, Sports lessons are taught by a trained Sports Teacher and so on.

I’ve seen a few other preschools with Art and Music lessons as well. What makes Lorna Whiston different?

As mentioned, unlike other preschools, each of our subjects is taught by internationally trained, highly qualified subject specialists. We invite parents to take some time to read our teacher profiles, at your time of convenience.

I can enroll my child in multiple enrichments outside for a lower fee.

The cost of enrichment lessons can widely vary. For instance, the hourly charge for music classes can go from $10 all the way to hundreds $$$. Lorna Whiston gives our students access to the highest calibre of teachers available, with international-level mentors coaching our young learners. We understand that not everyone seeks the best in everything, and we respect that. We encourage parents to make your own decision.
